HOOD RIVER RESIDENCE
Hood River, Oregon

Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, this custom family home is clad in Shou Sugi Ban siding, regionally sourced stone, and an innovative curtain wall system in which individual glazed panels extend beyond the floor plate to create a nearly seamless appearance.

Interior floors and walls feature basalt from Central Washington, and a custom steel staircase serves as a centerpiece of the living area. A cascading water feature ties the house to its landscape, and a partially covered roof deck overlooks the Columbia River and the town of Hood River.
